Dodge Repair: Cam-Crk sensor interferance P1391, crankshaft position sensor, lab scope

Question
I have a serious PCM problem with Timing. Code P1391. Both sensors have been changed. I can not find a Short or Wiring defect. This is on a 00 Dakota QC 5.9L. I also have since started getting ABS and BRAKE lights. PCM set code P0500. I was towing a boat when the vehicle died and this all started. I have replaced VSS as well. I no longer get the P0500, but the ABS and BRAKE still come on. The pcm cannot adjust ignition timing properly. I can adjust distributer and make it run, but it is NOT reading and adjusting itself. (Replaced PCM with same PN, still same symptoms)It's "busting up" badly (fuel and ignition timing are not in sequence. I feel that the orignal cause was a short in the trailer brake circuit because it blew a fuse mntd near PDC running down drivers side frame, tying in with tail lights. The short may have been caused by the VSS as it appeared to be broken and could have shorted to ground on the Diff housing. QUESTION: If the CAB has stored a code from a short that has not been erased, can it cause ignition malfunction, or if it is fried, would it interfere with ignition?????? I have noticed a TSB 082200 and 0850 which may be relevant to this problem. Thanks in advance for any light that you may be able to shed. I see several people in past answers who are quick to critisize you, but do not give enough info for anyone to be able to help.
