Dodge Repair: need help, coolant leak, dodge durango

i have a 2001 dodge durango 4.7liter 2 motnsh ago i went to ohio on vac it drove there fine i notice i had a coolant leak it was coming from that plastic piece on the top radiort hose that the raditor cap is on got a brand new one put it one and refille with coolant and water it drove home find never got over the half wat mark on the temp gauge nkwo it goes past the half way mark on temp gauge like it's over heating and the raditor cap has steam coming out from under it like it has alot of pressure pushing it up can you help me before i damage something i have good heat my heater works great

more then likely u have a leak some where else and what U see coming out og the rad cap is where there is to much air pressure in the system.  fill it up  get a coolant pressure tester and see if U can see any leaks coming out from any where.
If none  then start looking for fan issue or water pump issues.
