Dodge Repair: 2000 Dodge Intrepid, camshaft position sensor, camshaft sensor

I have a 2000 Dodge Intrepid with 156000 miles. The car runs great but I have to put in a new camshaft position sensor and the car started running great once again.That was about 6 months ago and now the car is at it again. So I will put another camshaft sensor in it and it will be all good. My question is. What would keep making the sensor to foul out? Thanks Vincent.

first of all now way of saying that the cam sensors is the issue. Second if u use aftermarket stuff  some times u get what u pay for in quality.
If u had gotten a cam sensor from Chrysler and it is defective 6 months later  u would get a new one for free up to 12 months 12k miles.
