Dodge Repair: windshield washer switch, windshield washer, negative cable

Question
I have an 03 gr caravan, went to replace the windsheild washer pump because it was not working , found out it was not the pump but must be the switch on the column. It was not getting power to the pump when activated. Any suggestions? Any sites that will show me how to repair? Thanks

multi function switch

REMOVAL
Disconnect and isolate battery negative cable.
Remove upper and lower steering column shrouds. Refer to Steering, Column, Shroud, Removal.
Disconnect wire connector from back of multi-function switch.
Remove screws holding multi-function switch to steering column adapter collar.
Remove the multi-function switch.
