Question
QUESTION: How do I access the battery so I can change it.

ANSWER: need to know the year car

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: The car is a 2000 one - I know that the battery is in a compartment located in the passenger side front wheel well - the manual that came with the car (which it is not very helpful) says that it can be accessed from the engine compartment - but that it's all it says. I do not know if I have to change the battery or not - but this is the 2nd time that it has gone "dead" - I have a battery charger and the first time it work ok - now battery went from silently dead to a clicking sound dead. Thanks for anything you can tell me.

Answer
for your battery ging dead u would have an issue more then likely with something staying on or plugged in and killing it. A computer staying on will do this  a light staying on will do this.
