Dodge Repair: Procedure to replace 98 intrepid turn signal sw assembly, negative battery cable, multifunction switch


Question
I know I need to replace the turn signal, brite light, wiper control assembly switch on my 98 intrepid but I could not readily see what needed to occur to perform that procedure. My question is what is the procedure to replace that assembly and is it difficult to do?

MULTI-FUNCTION WIPER SWITCH
REMOVAL
Open hood and disconnect the negative battery cable remote terminal from the remote battery post Negative Battery Cable Remote Terminal
Tilt the column up and remove the lower column shroud by unsnapping it from the upper shroud.
Tilt the column down and remove the upper shroud Upper Shroud Removal
Tilt the column up and remove the one steering column tilt lever screw at base of lever. Remove tilt lever and lower shroud.
Using a screwdriver in place of the lever, tilt the column down. Remove the two mounting screws on the switch and remove the switch. Remove the wiring from the hooks and disconnect the two electrical connections on the multi-function switch. Remove the multi-function switch.
INSTALLATION
For installation, reverse the above procedures. Torque the multifunction switch mounting screws to 17 in lbs. (2 N·m)
