Dodge Repair: 2001 Dodge Stratus A/C Problems, 2001 dodge stratus, dodge stratus

Question
Hi. Please Help! I don't know anything about cars and have been ripped off plenty of times by mechanics taking advantage of my lack of knowledge. Well, the problem is that my car will not blow cold air. It would blow cold for less than a minute and starts to blow warm air again. Basically, I get more warm air then cold. I just got a freon refill and still no cold air. The car I have only has 71000 miles on it with no previous history of accidents, so I don't want to believe that the parts such as the AC compressor or condensor would go bad. The 1,2,3,4 switches works fine, but for some reason no cold air wants to come out the vents. Can you please point me to the right direction so that when I go to a mechanic I know what I will be talking about. I stopped by a place and the mechanic there wanted to charge me 800 dollars to fix the condenser, but then he also said that he's not sure if that is the problem. Please give me an idea of what the problems could be and how much I should be expecting to pay. Thanks in advance!

Answer
I cant give u a correct direction with out looking at it myself. Y would u not beleave that a part like a compressor would not be to blame? With out looking at the pressures are I would only be guessing just based off what u say only.
I would say compressor  or a pressure switch is to blame.
I live in the Atlanta area I would be glad to look at it for u.
