Dodge Repair: blower motor, dodge dakota, blower motor

Question
hi there.. i have a 2002 dodge dakota with a 3.9 .. tons of issues with the blower motor speed... as many i have replaced the resistor several times.
now i have replaced the motor and a new resistor as well as the wires that come from the resistor.
i am getting all speeds however the highest speed is very slow like the #2 setting...originally the high speed was very good now its just blah...
the original connector that connected to the blower resistor card had some burn marks on the high side.. so i replaced the connector.. as well as stated earlier blower motor and several resistors.. please help.. perhaps its the control module and if so where is that located... or can you direct me to troubleshoot the problem.. thanks
