Dodge Repair: Transmission on 1995 Dodge LE, mechanic shops, train control

Question
I am sorry it after the codes were reset It shifted 1st and 2nd, but not any other gear and then went into the limp mode again. I was told there is an torqueflite A604 UPDATED REPAIR KIT that would fix this problem.  Will this fix the problem and if so do you know the average cost of the Updated kit I heard it was pretty expensive.

Thanks

I was driving down the road and it was running fine and then all the sudden it slip into limp mode. The transmission is now stuck in limp-mode.  I have bought a transmission book and look thru it and check the fault codes they are 12 and 55. I cleared the codes as the book said and I went down the road it did fine for a few mins and then slipped back into limp-mode.  I have read and look thru the transmisson book I just bought and it doesnt show me were the electronic solenoids are  Can you tell me were they are all located.  Do you think that this problem could be the electronic solenoids because it was running great.  My son jumped started it a few days before that and then it started in limp-mode a couple days after.  So I was thinking it may have shorted out one of the electornic solenoids in the transmission.  I need to know were they are located.  If you are unable to tell me is there a free site I can go to so that I can see were the are all located.

Thanks a million for any help you can give me.

Hi,
If you can reset the codes and it works for a little while then the solonoids are not the problem.  I would look more at the Drive Train Control Module.

Answer
Hi,
This would probably cure the problem.  However, I can't give you a cost as different mechanic shops charge different prices.  Call around your town and get the cost from at least 4 different places and choose the cheepest place. AS LONG AS THEY ARE DEPENDABLE.
