Dodge Repair: dodge b250 van 1992 blows black smoke, foot on the gas, carburator

My 1992 dodge b250 van runs good and only blows a little black smoke until it gets warmed up. Then after you turn it off and wait maybe 5 minutes and try to crank it you have to hold it to the floor before it will crank and when it does it sounds like it is sucking way too much air and you have to keep your foot on the gas to keep it running. Then whenever you mash the gas it blows black smoke and it won't open up.The more you mash the gas, the more black smoke comes out the exhaust.

the choke on the carburator is the problem; it is sticking and this causes the engine to run rich / you can probably have the choke repaired but, on a 1992, you can probably replace the the carb with a rebuilt unit for very little money ( and the carb would have a warranty too )
