Dodge Repair: car problems, neon 4, radiator cap

well i just got a radiator put on my car 1996 dodge neon 4 cylinder single over head cam? and since then its very hard to crank i have to hold the key and put my foot on the gas until it starts i got a starter 4 months ago so its not that i checked that out also the idle speed is very high when the car decides to start its real loud like my foot has the pedal to the floor ,then when i put the car in any gear park reverse or drive it jerks hard  and today i noticed when it was on the muffler has this putt noise like its not getting something its not loud hmm when i put my foot on the gas pedal a little black smoke comes out the last thing is when i drive for a while my coolant jug boils I'm sorry i know this is a lot to read but I'm a single mom of 4 and this is my only way to get around here's a list of things I've had done recently timing chain,heads,fuel injection in 2005 and spark plugs/wires,thremostat,radiator,radiator cap,in the last 1 to 4 months so could you sent me some helpful information

When it runs is there any smoke, and if so what color is it.
Auto Zone offers a free service of putting a code reader on your vehicle and reading any trouble codes.  
I would go down and have them check it out to see what sensor is not performing properly.
