Question
I have a 1993 plymouth voyager i recently had the spark plugs changed on it the first time my brother put them in and he then left town. Then come to find out they were the wrong plugs so then my brother in law put them in i have been having a problem with the van ever since.

the rpm's are running high and it sputter's and acts like it wans to die almost like its not getting gas to the engine. and its also really loud if you could help me with this problem i would be grateful.  thanks Crystal

Answer
Hi Crystal,
It sounds to me like you have a bad cataletic converter.  You really need to have this replaced as it has been known to start fires.  The reason it sounds loud is the exhost is begining to get plugged up and the exhost has to find a place to get out.  You may have to replace the O2 sensor also.  However, replace the converter and see if that doesn't cure the problem.
