Dodge Repair: Dodge Durango ABS/Brake, dodge durango, abs brake

Question
I have a 1998 Dodge Durango that has an intermittent ABS / Brake light illumination. Turn the vehicle off and on and it dissappears. May not see it for a few days, then it comes back on. Always both lights at the same time, ABS and the red BRAKE light. Is this a control module?

This is probably an indication that you need to replace the brake pads.  When you replace the brake pads you also have to either get new rotors or have the old ones turned.  If the old ones are within tolerence it will be cheaper to have them turned.  If you don't do one of the two you will have a surging when you apply the brakes.
