Dodge Repair: 00 Stratus A/C Inop, powertrain control module, compressor clutch

Question
I have a 2000 dodgew stratus with a 2.4 L engine, automatic trans.  The heater does not blow cold air.  The blower works on all speeds.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
This is going to be a difficult one to answer given the your description.

Let's start with the simple stuff.  There's the chance you've got an a/c refrigerant leak (commonly referred to as Freon).  If too much has leaked out then the compressor will not come on because the pressure switches don't like the low pressure readings.  The possibilities include every component related to a/c with the exception of the HVAC box, the powertrain control module, wiring and the controls itself.  That's what CAN'T leak refrigerant BUT all those components could electrically prevent the a/c from coming on OR prevent the air from not moving to the proper place inside your dash to give you cold air out of the vents.

Electrically speaking you could have pressure switches under the hood not working right, your a/c compressor clutch could have excessive gap, the control head could be bad or the computer could be bad.

Honestly, there's no way of telling at this point and you'll have to either do some electrical checks or take some pressure readings with a set of gauges before I could even begin to point you in the right direction.  Some history on the car might help... how long has it been inoperative and did it just quit one day or has it progressively gotten worse?
