Dodge Repair: 2000 Dodge Ram Transmission, dodge ram, electrical problem

We are having trouble with our 2000 Dodge Ram, 318, auto, 125,000 mi. We had it overhauled at 100,000. It sometimes won't shift out of 1st. We can put shift into neutral (while rolling) then back into drive and it will shift. The problem is intermitent. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. We tried TransTune but it has not helped. Could it be an electrical problem?

a governor problem, a bad seal on a piston, a sticky valve in the valve body...
