Dodge Repair: 97 Dodge Grand Caravan Wipers, dodge grand caravan, grand caravan

Question
I was just in the van driving and it started raining, so I turned on the wipers and they worked fine for about five minutes or so and then they both stopped about midway through the cycle and you could just hear the motor running and the wipers not wanting to move. If you turn it to hi it just makes the sound louder and still does not move the wipers.

I turned the van off and got out and tried to move the wipers out of my view and they won't move.

What could be causing this... how do you think I can fix it?

Thanks...

Answer
The connection bars that conect the wiper arms to the motor may have came off... It's a pain in the neck to get to on the newer vans also. Get a Cilton's Total Car Care manual for your van, it will describe how to repair it. I can't describe here, it's way too long and involved.
