Dodge Repair: 2000 dodge grand caravan engine control module, dodge grand caravan, metric bolts

hello,

could you tell me what an engine control or body control module is and are they the same or seperate things?  Also,  where is this thing or things located and is it difficult to remove?  I have been told mine is bad but the person has ripped me off before.  They give me "greek to me" explainations as to why it is bad and I have a friend who can check it for me if I can get it out and send it to him as he lives over 1500 miles from me.  I live in a very rural area and don't know any other mechanics in this area and need this fixed ASAP if it is bad.  Thank you very much.

Maybe i can help u on this . It is a compuiter he is talking about it controlls gas and spark and controlls all the idile to your car it is the brain .
The best way to put it . It is in the left hand fender well as 4 no. 8 metric bolts holding it in and easy to change . and you can by one from any parts store for 175 dollors and change it in 15 min. Did the mech do a diagnostiac test to see what the compuiter was reading out . find out if u can and get back to me . Good luck to u and hun you have a pretty name and please rate my serivice
