Dodge Repair: Water under driver side carpet, plymouth voyager, core leak

Question
Justin,
Thanks for reviewing my question. I have a 97 Plymouth voyager. I have a water leak underneath the drivers side carpet. At time it seems to leak underneath the vehicle but not always. I also noticed with the A/C off, vent closed and the vehicle standing still hot air is blowing from the vents, when the A/c is on you can see the cold air condensing. Like when its cold outside and you blow warm air out of your mouth you see smoke.

Also the A/C lights flash at start up then become steady after driving for a while.

Also the windshield wipers come on periodically without being turned on.

Please let me know what you think.
Thanks
Greg

Answer
The water leak could be caused by a faulty heater core. It could be one of many things, but it sounds like a heater core leak, it's on the driver's side of the vehicle. As far as the A/C condensing, that confuses me. I'm stuck there, I haven't heard of it condensating like that before. The wipers could come on due to a bad relay, try replacing it, it is very cheap. Hope this helps.
