Dodge Repair: 91 Dodge Spirit dash lights, dodge spirit, fuse panel

my boyfriend recently decided to try to install a cd player into my car and wired the ground wire wrong, causing it to smoke after about 10 minutes of using the cd player. Now my dash lights and parking lights won't work.... please help.

Sounds like he may have created an electrical short of some kind. All I can say for sure, is check the fuses in your fuse panel. There is one for the parking lights. What would help alot, is if you have a mechanic scan it with a computer and retrieve any codes and send those back to me. I can pinpoint almost any problem by the computer's codes. Hope this helps.
