Dodge Repair: 89 Dynasty, code scanner, hook up

Question
I have a 89 dynasty with a 3.0 v6.  I replaced the fuel presure regulator as it was injecting fuel directly back into the intake.  Now after running for 45 minutes the check engine light comes on and the idle starts to get rough.  After cooling for about an hour it starts fine and idles fine.  It will run good on my 30 minute ride home, but if I drive it another 15 to 20 minutes the check engine light comes on.

This car has 175000 miles on it so I do not want to put an extensive amount of money into it, but if you can think of anything simple and cheap, I'll give it a shot.

Is there any way to pull the codes from this car?  i know you could do it with the Chevy, but I have not had much experiance with mopar.

Thanks for the help

Answer
Okay... I've got one, same year and all, but haven't had this problem yet. Mine only has 113,000 miles though. But- Right under the ashtray assembly under the dash, there should be a blue connector with nothing plugged in. Hook up a code scanner there- send back any codes, I have the complete book and can be more specific about your problem. Make sure it's hooked up at the time the car messes up though. Numbers should read 00 thru 55. I hope I'm able to help you out!
