Dodge Repair: airbag light, dodge caravan, air bag

Just today (May 17) I bought a 2001 Dodge Caravan Se. I notice the airbag light is staying on  and the manual says it should be taken to a dearer ASAP. Does this have the potential to be a major problem?

That means it may be a remanufatured vehicle and the airbag is missing. If it was in an accident, this is usually the case. However, if it isnt, the air bag sensor may be trying to tell you that the air bag may not work in a crash. Take it to the dealer and have it looked at.
