Dodge Repair: front end, dodge stratus, luck steve

Question
I have a 1999 dodge stratus  2.4 dohc  my question is about the front end  It sounds like I need a muffler but when I barely turn the wheel to the left the noise goes away . I have replaced the rotors calipers outer tierod ends and the right wheel bearing assembly on this thing and the noise is still there  any suggestions?

Answer
The key to your problem is the noise goes away when you turn. the other wheel bearing is the problem. or the one you put in is bad.

I have had cars that I would have bet $100 bucks that the right bearing was bad only to find after replacing it that it was the left.

I now recomend replaceing both at the same time.

I have never had a noise in the front end that would go away while turning that turned out to be anything else but the wheel bearing.

Good luck
