Dodge Repair: 1993 dodge stealth, mr lacey, dodge stealth

Question
Dear Mr. Lacey,
About 2 years ago I purchased a 1993 Dodge Stealth ES, DOHC, nonurtbo with over two hundred thousand miles, still runs like a bat out of hell.  If it is OK I need several questions answered.
1. The most urgent being that the front end has developed a shimmy when you put on the brakes. About a year ago I was hit in the front passenger side up near the head light. I don't think it directly involved the wheel, but the impact was hard enough to push the front end around and the SUV that hit me caught me in the back quarter pannel near the gas door, this happened on a rainy day.  I noticed a small vibration after this accident and over time it has grown into a very scary shimmy when  slowing to a stop from high speeds. At slow speeds it is not so violent. This shimmy can also be felt in the steering wheel.  While driving I don't notice any vibration or shimmy.  I can still take my hands off the stearing wheel and the car does not veer to one side or another. I recently got new tires and this did not fix or diminish the shimmy at all.

2. The whole time that I have owned this car every time it rains and sometimes when the humidity is high, I live in KY in the Ohio valley, there is a squeeling noise coming from the engine. My usual mechanic tightened the fan belt and it quit for a while, but within a month it started squeeling again every time it rains. I have tried belt dressing with no luck.

3. Recently I had it tuned up, the oil changed  and a new timing belt put on. Not long afterwards I noticed when I would park my car there was somoe smoke coming out of the drivers side wheel well. It doesnt smell like engine oil burning and I do not see any oil on the engine. A few weeks later I noticed the steering was becoming stiff and then the power steering pump started to make a groaning sound. I filled the pump back up with fluid and it was normal again, but about every month the pump needs more fluid. Would they have to remove the power steering line to change the timing belt? Could the line have gotten pinched while replacing the motor and developed a pin hole leak? If it is this line can I repair it myself or will I have to take it to a mechanic to be repaired?

Thanks,
Karen
