I have a 1988 dodge shadow 2.2 liter turbo engine
I can't find a replace parts to rebuild turbo and would like to know if the car will operate OK without the turbo.  Mel

It should run okay, but you wont get the power like you did before with the turbo.. Ty..

Do you know of any place that sells the parts to rebuild the turbo.  The fans are fine just needs a shaft and the bushings and an oil seal. Can turbos out of other chrysler replace it. Th Thanks Mel

You can check with Auto Zone, but I doubt if they will have it. This is more like a Dealer item then anything. Other Chryslers will work, but you need, to make sure its the right turbo for the right engine. Most parts stores have a interchange book, and they will tell you which is which. But these Turbos are expensive, I would shop around before deciding on this issue.. TY..
