Dodge Repair: maintenance 2000 caravan, clack clack, gas milage

Question
Our 2000 grand AWD caravan has 90,000 miles on it, sometimes when it starts it has a loud clack, clack, clack sound that goes away. It sounds like maybe it is a stuck valve.  The gas milage and "get up and go" also seem to be decreasing.  It's had occaisional oil changes (one recently), brakes done and it likes to leak fluids, tranmission, coolant, oil, so we keep an eye on those.  It feels as though it needs a "tune up"  Do they still do those?  Do you think it would help, and what do they entail?  Any other suggestions?  Thanks

Answer
You could have a sticky valve, what I would do is purchase a can of engine flush, add this to the crankcase, run the vehicle for 5 minutes, then change the oil. This should stop the noise from the engine, if not then one or both valves are bad on the engine.

2. As for the vehicle leaking fluids, it should be looked at by a mechanic, the vehicle should also have a tuneup done to it. Its best to have these things done to the vehicle before the leaks get really bad and your stranded somewhere.. Thanks for the question..
