Dodge Repair: overheating, dodge caravan, termostat

Question
I have a 1994 Dodge Caravan. I have been having some problems with it overheating, which seems funny to me since the temperature has not been over 45degrees for the past 3 weeks.  The termostat was just replaced but the temperature stillrises high enough for the check gages bell to go off.  Smetimes right after the temp rises it does fall rapidly but then gets high again.  Also the heater will be blowing out nice warm air and then you will get cold air almost freezing.  Also when the temp is going up n the van sometimes the antifreeze that is in the overflow will boil.  what could possibly be my problem?  I would be greatful for any advice.

Answer
Hello Amanda

This could be another bad thermostiac . or it could be the starting of a bad head gaske or a pluged raiditor .
If the raiditor is pluged when the car is runing you want to feel the top of the raidtior to see if it is hot then feel the botton to see if it is cold if it is then it is pluged . Then you would have to replace the raiditor .

Let me know what you find hun and if you need more help let me know. and you have a pretty name
