Eagle Repair: 92 Eagle Summit 2WD sedan CV Joint, cv joint, slide hammer

Question
Hi Im having trouble getting the passenger side CV joint out, Iv been pulling on it all day and its not buging. Im pretty sure it is the snap in kind because there are no bolts there and the replacement CV joint has a snap ring on it. If you can think of any way to get it off that would help alot
thanks   Dylan.

Answer
I will try to be as clear as possible.

If you look closely at the end of the inner CV joint you might see the gear sticking out of the transmission and where the CV joint is covering that part. That is exactly where you should place a "crow bar" and use the leverage to push it out.
Another way would be to purchase a slide hammer and but the adapter for CV joint removal.

Hope this helps.
