Eagle Repair: Throttle Body, adjustment screw, eagle talon

Question
I drive a '92 TSI Eagle Talon with the 2.0 turbo engine. My throttle body adjustment screw blew out, from what i hear you can't replace it without replacing the whole throttle body. But to do that it would cost $800 new and i can't find and used ones. Is that true about the screw or just a trick to get me to spend more money? If i can replace it where could i get the screw?

Answer
Hi Michael

Not true, the biss idle screw can be purchased seperately but only from selected shops. I only know of one they do have an online order page at www.machv.com go to the intake section and check out the biss idle screw set. This should be what you require and only costs $6.00, a saving of $794.00 please send good comments and ratings.

Hope this helps

Thanks
