Ford Repair: fuel tank/fuel pump compatibility

I have an 89 Ford Bronco (5.0l 302 v8) that I'm doing some work to. I'm replacing the fuel tank and fuel pump. The only tanks I can find that are a match are through spectra and Dorman. Both products are the same size and fit the truck but they are smaller than the original tank. So my problem is that the fuel pump hangar assembly doesn't fit the new tank. The tank isn't deep enough. Part numbers I have. Fuel pump through precision a43008. Fuel tank through spectra f8e. Are there deeper tanks or shorter fuel pumps or a way to make the two compatible

I'm almost certain the hangar assembly will fit it doesn't make any sense for an after market company to make a unit which doesn't accommodate the original fuel pump  assembly.
if for some reason it doesn't fit, look at summit racing or jegs for a solution to this problem
