Ford Repair: Anti theft system, windows radio, raido

QUESTION: Does the anti-theft system activate if the key is left on for a period of 30 mins or more?  I left it on to listen to the raido while washing the car and it would not start with the anti theft light flashing.  The car was rear ended a week before and was repaired so I am not sure if the accident caused this or not as i don't believe it has happened while washing it before.

ANSWER: Does the car start or run now ???

QUESTION: Yes it does.  Just fine in fact.  In order to start it I used a quick jump start.  The battery is newer and I had full power for windows, radio, lights etc - but the anti theft light was flashing and it would not turn over.

-k-, if the vehicle is running and starting fine, i'm gonna have to assume the theft light was flashing fast due to low battery voltage from the key being on for 30 min. the theft light should flash every few seconds or so when the key is off but when starting it should illuminate then go right out
