Ford Repair: 2003 ford tarus transmission, ford tarus, ford taurus

i have a 2003 ford taurus with 98000 miles on it.when the car gets up to full speed it starts to skip/bukk .when i excelerate again it stops.this happens when climbing small inclines also.any thoughts thank you

is your check engine light on or flashing ??? do you happen to notice if it happens when raining or damp out ???. i'm leaning more towards an ignition miss fire more than a trans concern but if you could answer this and get back to me.. thank you  -b-
