Ford Repair: reprogram remote, door locks, ford expedition

Am looking for directions to reprogram a remote for an Ford Expedition I lost my directions to the the remote and now they both have stopped working. A2881 is the number on the back of the remote

need to know what year the vehicle is ? but most are cycle the key from off to on 5 times ending in the on position. the door locks should cycle. then hit the lock button on one remote then again on the other remote the door locks should react to the remotes, then cycle the key off. the door locks should go up and down.. if the first step of 5 times doesn't work- do it 8 times. yru this and get back to me please. -b-
