Ford Repair: EGR Valve, screw driver, marvel mystery oil

What do I use to clean the carbon from the inside of the valve?

honestly, go to your local ford dealer. they sell a foaming carburetor cleaner. remove the valve. spray this cleaner on it. let it foam. move the pintle of the valve up and down with a small screw driver. now, fill a container big enough to hold the valve with 1/2 marvel mystery oil and a half a bottle of fuel injection or carburetor clean ( liquid type ) and soak the egr over night. blow it off in the a.m. with air. problem solved with best results
