QUESTION: Brian, Thanks for your help. Although I have not tried your instruction yet, I'm a little confused by the wording. There is the exterior lift gate handle and an interior strap type handle. Do I need to remove both of them? If you could pleas elaborate with a little more detail.
I need the idiot version! Thanks so much for your time!!!

Answer
remove the interior door pull strap by removing the two screws located under it. there should be a small cover located interior where the door lock rod is, remove it with a small screw driver and there should be a screw under it, remove it.. starting at the top of the door panel working from center, go left then right then left then right. pull the trim panel straight out. you will be releasing the push pins that hold the upper part of the door panel in place. one this is done.4-5 maybe six.  grab the bottom pof the door panel and push upwards. there are " j" hooks that hold the panel in place. if the vehicle is equipted with a rear wiper motor, the cover over the wiper motor is simply removed by  pulling the cover upwards, if you still have questions, feel free to write again, we'll get this done together !!
