Ford Repair: brakes problem, brake caliper, ford e150

Question
I have Ford E150, year 2001, 6 cylinders. In the rear  on passenger side the brakes did not release from pressing against the drum after braking. I did rebuild everything, all new parts including the brake cylinder (the pump) that expends the brakes. When I drove and pressed on the brake pedal, the brakes stuck again. What would be the problem?
Thanks,
Miro

Answer
Miro, I assume that you rebuild the brake caliper.  I would suggest that you change the caliper with a rebuild one, as the cylinder in the brake caliper maybe damaged enough, that a rebuild is not an option.  The way to check it, the cylinder must have a very smooth/machined surface all way around.  If you see or feel scuff marks, it is no good.   Thanks!
