Ford Repair: 2002 Ford F250 Super Duty, ford f250 super duty, fuel injector cleaner

Question
I just bought this truck and it ran fine on a test drive hwy and everything. Took it out today and its idling rough more so while its in drive. It also seems to flatten out in the lower gears when the RPM drop and shutters a bit. I took it to the local shop and the gentlemen told me that it probably has some bad coil packs and needs a tune. I just was layed off so money is tight. I wanted to do mu due diligence on this just so i don't spend wasteful money. I would like to do as little as possible right now to get the truck running right and then go through the whole truck in the spring. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance

Answer
Tim, I don't think your problem is that serious.  you can wait until spring.  I would suggest that you use a fuel injector cleaner and fuel line cleaner first.  Do that on a couple of times.  The coils might be bad, but it is not sever that it cannot wait til spring.  I would suggest that you change all them at once.
