Ford Repair: water leak, bars stop leak, bars leak

Greetings Mark, hope all is well. I have a 1996 ford f150 truck with a 6cylinder engine.Every time I put water in the radiator it has a fast leak that seems comming from the top of the bell housing,both sides, its automatic. Have tried bars stop leak, did nothing, truck starts and runs fine. Is there a freez plug it the back of the engine or maybe a crack head or block, got me puzzled?

you have freeze plugs in rear of engine-throw the bars leak away and pull transmission and replace freeze plugs-they are probably have holes rusted in them-while your at it check all of them on engine-also may have one on rear of head-check for leak at the head first if it is dry pull tranny.
