Ford Repair: Ford Truck brake issues, minor leaks, brake hoses

Question
I have a 1985 Ford F250 3/4 ton 2wd diesel(6.9)AT truck. Last weekend while driving the brake pedal suddenly stiffened up (no noises) and I had no stopping power, ended up ebraking it 20 miles back home. Today I removed all four tires did a brake inspection (disc front, drum rear)pads and shoes at 50%, both rear wheel cylinders had minor leaks. and had one sticking caliper on passenger front. Replaced the wheel cylinders, got the front caliper working, replaced both pads and shoes while in there, and reassembled. when I went to bleed the system (starting in rear)I got fluid for a moment then nothing. Disconnected each line at wheels and master cylinder (one at a time)in some cases I got fluid and some not. Found some fresh fluid at the rear of the master cylinder where it connects to the power booster.  Before I start replacing, do you have any thoughts.  I have not gotten a repair manual for the vehicle yet, I just purchased it.  Thanks

Answer
if you got the big nut looking fittings at master cylinder i would replace them they are check valves-as far as front caliper how did you get it working? if it was sticking internally it will stick again probably at the worst possible time-i would replace master cylinder because of fresh fluid at booster-if it has nuts replace them because they are check valves-caliper because of sticking-check brake hoses for external cracks is so replace them they also come apart on inside and can trap fluid-these parts use to be expensive but are fairly reasonable now and a lot safer than ebraking 20 miles good luck.
