How do the wires connect to the sylenoid?

i would guess  you are talking about the starter solenoid the hot wire and fusible link wires connect to one side-the cable from starter connects on the other side-the small wire with elbow connector connects to small terminal if you have two small terminals connect it to the one closest to the battery first then try to start it if that is not it connect it to the other one.
