Ford Repair: O2 Sensor EGR Sensor Check engine lights ON, ford taurus, egr valve

James; how are you? I really need your help; I have a Ford Taurus 2001 Flex 3.0 V6; The Check Engine Lights came ON and the error code was P0401; Then i´ve changed the O2 sensor; DPFE Sensor but the lights came ON again... I really don´t know what is going on with that... after 10 miles the light is ON again. Thanks!!!

Unfortunately you have yet to replace the correct part. Your EGR Valve needs to be replaced. Not only do you replace it, But you also have to clean out the tube and the Ports where the Valve mounts. This can be a pain. You may get away with a quick swap of the valve, but rest a sure, it will happen again. Clean the ports while you have the valve off.
