Ford Repair: No Fire From Ignition coil to the distributor, crank sensor, luck chris

Question
I have a 1988 Mustang I have replaced the coil and know it is good because I have tried it in another mustang. I have power in the coil but it has no spark. I have had a few people look at it and they all say the same thing " there is no spark to the distributor fromt he coil". I have also had the battery and altenator checked but still cant find the problem.

Answer
hey there, A coil may have power but it will need a  signal to fire from the crank sensor, It detects when the engine is craking and fires the coil. without this the coil would be firing all the time, check the crank sensor wiring and the sensor to start, good luck
