Ford Repair: 4WD Issue:, cliks, eddie bauer

Hi!

I have a 95 Bronco Eddie Bauer Full Size. The 4WD high cliks in but the light does not illuminate. The low side dies not click in at all.

The mechanic said that the Electronic Shift Control Module part number: F1TB-7E453-AA must be replaced.  I question this because the high side 4WD works.  

Any direction you can provide is appreciated.

Hello Vito, The light is controlled by the module to come on in the dash when 4x4 is engaged. If 4x4 works in high then 4x4 low should to. Make sure you are trying to put into 4x4 correctly-     1)vehicle must be at a stop
    2)brake pedal must be pressed and transmission in neutral
    3)make your selection to 4 low-should hear a clunk when it engages
    4) take out of 4x4 low by doing the same steps to put into 4x4 low
