Ford Repair: vacuum booster hose, vacuum booster, ford contour

heres my problem 1998 ford contour,2.0 liter vacuum hose broke off when my mechanic friend replaced my transmission. the problem is no one not even Hanes and chilton manuals show where to hook up vacuum hose to intake manifold, a diagram or picture would help.

Hello Nathaniel, The hose should connect to a connection at the back of the head close to the vacuum booster, I looked up in a service manual and it is not clear nor does it have a good diagram. Thats per the norm for Ford. Soory could not be better help. Thanks Tony
