QUESTION: Where can I find a schematic for the MAF.  Mine has 6 pins and my manual shows a 4 pin model.  I just want to make sure I am testing it properly.  I get an engine fault indicating lean fuel.

ANSWER: Your local library will have copies of Mitchell service manuals. This is a complete hard copy index. It is basically the book version of the software that most garages use. You should find detailed schematics inside. Most of the times you should be able to make copies for a dime a page.

QUESTION: Will a faulty MAF cause engine knock and a fault light indicating lean fuel?

Answer
Yes and no, it will cause the lean indicator. It will be more useful to me if you could provide the trouble code. If you have trouble replying, put it in the Feedback. The engine knock is something else, so I will need that trouble code. Try and look for filling stations without ethanol for the time being. They are out there, try a google search if you can't find one.
