Ford Repair: Battery draining, ford contour, time odds

I have a 96 Ford Contour. The battery keeps draining and when I jump it, it only runs for a minute or two then dies again. It has a new battery and a new alternator. Any suggestions as to what else it can be and how to remedy this would be GREATLY appreciated!

New parts are sometimes bad. Unless you replaced them at the same time, odds are that the alternator is defective. If you replace the alternator with out a fresh battery, you have about a 90 percent chance of killing the new alternator. My suggestion would be to remove both parts, and take them to the parts store where they were purchased to have them tested, and if need be, replaced.
