Ford Repair: 2006 ford f-250, ford f 250, chime

I purchased the above vehicle used 130K miles and found that there is no warning chimes whatsoever.  I found the seat belt connector was unplugged under the seat so i plugged it back in.  there is still no chime when the lights are left on or the door is open with the keys in.  I could not locate a fuse for the chime.   can you help me?

Hello Mike, The warning chime is in a module and there is no fuse for it. With out a computer diagnostic to see what is causing it I would just be guessing. But if I had to guess I would say the contact for the ignition or the module has a short on the chime circuit. Thanks Tony
