Ford Repair: p04020 code, faulty sensor, luck chris

HI,

The service engine light came on my '97 Taurus.  The code that came up was p04020...what should I look out for when I take that to a shop to make sure i don't get taken.

hey there, i dont remberer one hundred perscent what this code is, it is either an egr malfuntion code, or it is a cylinder two misfire code, if you feel like the engine is running a little rough then it is a missfire code, and the problem can consist of a few things, if it seems to run fine then it is a egr code, more than likely a faulty sensor.. good luck Chris p
