Ford Repair: check engine light wont come on, lincoln town car, pass smog test

hello i have a 1988 lincoln town car, does it have a check engine light? because if so it's not coming on and won't pass smog test

hey there, if the check engine light does not come on there is a possibility that someone has pulled the bulb. wehn you turn the ignition to the on position it should come on breifly telling you that the bulb is ok, have it scaned for codes to see if there is anything stored in the pcm. and have someone see if there is a bulb in place for the check engine light for future use, good luck,
