Ford Repair: Power window repair, ford mustang, window assembly

2001 ford mustang (v6).  Hi, my power window on the driver's side will not roll up.  It has had this problem in the past but then it would miraculously fix it self.  this time, it doesn't seem to want to.  I took off the door panel and I thought I would have good access to the window assembly but as you most likely know, that is not the case.  I am assuming the window motor is bad but I am not sure.  How can I check to see if the window motor is bad.  Please advise.  Thank you.  Gary

first check all fuses-if ok get a wiring diagram possibly from a local garage that has alldata or mitchell offer a couple dollars as those programs aren't cheap-then check power and ground to the appropriate wires to and from switch if ok check same at motor.
