Ford Repair: Ford Escape 2008, ford escape, oil filter

The check engine light just came on in my 2008 Ford Escape.  I got my oil changed yesterday and don't know if that has anything to do with it or not..like oil filter not screwed on tightly etc....Have you heard of anything specifically going wrong with the Escapes/2008?  Thank you!

I cannot say that I have any info with that model and year. However, run it down to the local parts store and have the computer codes read for free. The local parts guys will give you the definitions, but it is the codes that I want. Having them delete the codes will not help.
